Kelly is hiring a Lab Technician for one of our clients in Indianapolis, IN.

Seasonal only position, Temp only position. Base pay range as provided by Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Scheduling

• Seasonal/Temporary position; multiple postings with different dates and openings:
  • 09/08/25 to 11/21/25 — $19-$20 — 1 opening
  • 09/22/2025 to 12/12/2025 — $19-$22 — 9 openings
  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • 09/15/2025 to 12/31/2025 — $18-$20 — 6 openings
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare grain and forage samples for analysis
• Prepare vials, clean containers, and mix samples
• Some light microbiology work (plate counting)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some science background or lab experience not required but preferred
• Science background preferred with BS or AS. The candidate could also be a college student working toward a degree
• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods
• Ability to work in a high placed, high throughput environment with maintained attention to detail
• Chemical exposure will be limited, but comfort handling chemicals is expected. PPE and training will be provided.
• Flexible schedule (i.e. staying longer, coming in earlier as needed)
• Ability to perform routine testing in an efficient and task-oriented manner
