Actalent in Elizabeth, NJ seeks a Research Assistant to support coordinators with daily clinic tasks, ESAQ administration, informed consent processes, and study documentation in accordance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines. This contract-to-hire position is fully onsite and based in a cosmetics research office.
The role requires strong organizational, communication, and medical knowledge, plus experience with clinical trials and data entry.
As a Research Assistant, you will perform daily clinic and administrative tasks to support coordinators in conducting study procedures. This includes administering Electronic Self-Assessment Questionnaires, managing the check-in process, assisting with informed consent signing, and providing support in various study‑related tasks. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and adherence to Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
This position operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and phones. The current schedule varies from Monday to Friday between 6 am and 7 pm. During sequester studies starting at the end of September/October, shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours, beginning at 6 or 7 am. If working a 12-hour study, the following day will be shorter. The role is situated within a cosmetics research office.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabeth, NJ.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
