Job summary

System One is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Seasonings R&D Lab in Hunt Valley, MD. This contract role starts with 7A-4P hours, onsite, with potential shift move to 8-5 if needed.

Responsibilities include compounding seasoning formulas for tasting, preparing raw materials and samples, and managing lab inventory. The ideal candidate is a recent science graduate, has some food-industry experience, and can learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Recent science graduate with some work experience (strongly prefer experience in food industry)
• Must be a quick learner and adaptable to a fast-paced lab environment
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; high school diploma acceptable with food experience

Reputable Manufacturer is seeking a Lab Tech to support in their Seasonings R&D Lab.

• Responsible for compounding seasoning formulas and applying to finished product as needed for tasting
• Responsible for the preparation / set-up of raw materials, finished products, and retention samples
• Manage lab inventory of raw materials, snack base, & supplies needed to support daily tasks

Requirements:

• Recent science graduate with some work experience (strongly prefer experience as a server/in food industry - must be interested in working with food/cooking)
• Quick learner, adaptable, ready to go
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; high school diploma fine BUT can't be a HS fresh out - need some type of food experience (chef, barista, etc)
• 0 years of experience required
