Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a full-time laboratory professional for first shift (Tue–Sat) to process and prepare specimens for sending to reference labs. The role emphasizes safety and quality control within a fast-paced environment.

You need an associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, plus 1 year of high-complexity testing experience. Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to operate common lab

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes.

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a vital part in processing and preparing specimens to be sent out to different reference laboratories
• Identifies specimen issues and in some cases, may resolve issues with specimen types
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All You Need Is

• At minimum an associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms
