Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing in Austin is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform tests per established procedures, document results, and coordinate with lab managers. You will support calibration checks, prepare test reports, and assist with multiple projects in a team-oriented environment.

The role requires a four-year engineering or technical degree with the ability to work in a fast-paced lab setting and maintain professional standards.

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.
• Ensure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.
• Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).
• Monitors multiple projects underway.
• Prepare test reports and related documents.
• Keeps current with industry technical developments and disseminates to the team, as necessary.
• Support the laboratory managers and team leaders with assignments of new projects to technicians based on competency.
• Support the Austin team with coordination of testing activities.
• Support the laboratory managers with tracking of team utilization and identify potential issues (technical, procedural, and commercial).

Qualifications

This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager
