Job summary

Dexian is seeking an entry-level laboratory technician to support daily genotyping operations on second shift. You will help maintain a clean workspace, assist with sample handling, equipment operation, and documentation review across processing, extraction, and detection.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Receive, organize, and track incoming samples.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of labware, buffers, and reagents.
  • Troubleshoot and operate equipment used in genotyping production processes.
  • Review, update, and maintain accurate documentation related to laboratory tasks.
  • Rotate across different lab areas, including Chipping, Extraction, and Detection.
  • Follow safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, and workflow guidelines.
  • Support multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate effectively with supervisors and other teams.
  • Participate in training sessions, which may occur outside normal work hours.

This entry-level laboratory technician position offers an opportunity to support daily operations in a genotyping laboratory environment.
