Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is hiring for a Laboratory Operations role in Austin, TX. This full-time position supports processing and preparing specimens for transport to reference labs with an emphasis on accuracy and safety.

You will join a team that handles high complexity testing, maintains quality controls, and adheres to PHI safeguards while contributing to patient care and lab efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare specimens for transport to reference labs.
• Identify specimen issues and resolve issues with specimen types when possible.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

This opportunity is full-time during first shift.

In this role, you will:

• - Perform a vital part in processing and preparing specimens to be sent out to different reference labs.
• - Identifies specimen issues and in some cases, may resolve issues with specimen types
• - Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
• - Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• - At minimum an associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
• - 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• - Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• - Ability to stand for extended periods of time
