Avera St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a Regular, day-to-evening shift lab assistant to organize specimen collection, transport, and pre-analytic testing in a multidisciplinary health care setting.
You will collect blood and other specimens, label and transport them, perform selected point-of-care testing, and assist with record-keeping and inventory under established regulations and standards.

Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $18.00 - $23.50

Organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport, specimen processing, testing dispersal, point-of-care testing procedures, and other pre analytic functions following established standards and practices.
