Job summary

Superior Completions, a Superior Energy Services Company, is hiring a Laboratory Technician 2 for our Houston, TX office. The role supports testing of downhole completion tools, data acquisition, and coordination with engineers to execute test plans.

You will participate in safety meetings, perform hydraulic and nitrogen tests, and maintain test documentation and equipment readiness. Excellent benefits accompany this on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–8 years of testing prototype downhole completion tools and/or related training.
• High pressure pipe fitting experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Attend all safety meetings and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Assemble prototype equipment per engineers' drawings.
• Conduct high pressure hydrostatic and nitrogen testing.
• Initiate and maintain data acquisition test information on the PC.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering and Test Lab to plan tests and projects.
• Maintain neat work area and keep maintenance schedules for cranes and equipment.
