Job summary

SGMC Health in Valdosta, GA is seeking an IT Revenue Cycle Analyst to support the EHR and related IT systems within the EPIC department. The role focuses on developing, supporting, and optimizing revenue cycle workflows.

Candidates should have Epic certification within 3 months, 2+ years on IT Revenue Cycle applications, and healthcare IT experience in hospital settings. On-site full-time with on-call duties during conversion periods.

Qualifications

• Epic certification or proficiency within 3 months of being hired is required.
• Two (2) years of experience supporting IT Revenue Cycle applications required.
• Healthcare IT experience in Hospital revenue cycle settings required.
• Operational experience in Hospital Revenue Cycle environment preferred.
• Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service.

SUMMARY

The IT Revenue Cycle Analyst (Analyst) will assist in the development, support, and functionality of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and supporting IT systems. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Epic certification or proficiency within 3 months of being hired is required.
• Two (2) years of experience supporting IT Revenue Cycle applications required.
• Healthcare IT experience in Hospital revenue cycle settings required.
• Operational experience in Hospital Revenue Cycle environment preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS- ADA INFORMATION

• Required to work flexible schedule in order to accommodate on-call and other responsibility including accessing system from out-of-campus to analyze/resolve system problem/halts.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays on occasions during conversion of software/operating system, or installation of enhancements/hardware, or to meet deadlines.
• Require full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye and hand coordination.
• Requires standing, walking, and sitting for periods of time.
• Requires corrected vision to acceptable range.
• Requires lifting, approximately 50 pounds, transporting and installing computer equipment.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
