Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST III) to join the provider care team in Rogers, AR. You will assist with specimen collection, processing, transport and reporting, delivering accurate data and timely lab support while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and Mercy standards.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of phlebotomy or clinical lab experience; college-level chemistry or biology is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience; Mercy LST II designation or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and obtain specimens for laboratory testing using safe, accurate methods.
• Process, transport and refer laboratory specimens and reports as required.
• Assist technologists with appropriate test methods and perform limited laboratory testing as needed.
