Sentara Health is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician to join the Microbiology Lab at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. This is a part-time evening position with shift options including second shift (Evenings) and alternating weekend coverage.

Duties include preparing specimens per SOPs and performing instrument maintenance and inventory tasks under supervision. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology.

• No certification or licensure required.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.96 - $29.25 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
