Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Lab Support Technician for the Healthplex South Lab in Oklahoma City. This regular, full-time role includes phlebotomy, waived testing, and general clerical support within the lab team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 10 years of work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Phlebotomy and waived testing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads lab specimens from instruments and performs waived testing.
• Collects, labels, processes and preserves specimens per procedures.
• Enters and processes lab orders in LIS/EMR systems.
• Performs administrative duties including reception, admission activities, and order entry.
• Maintains clean, organized lab workspace and supports teammates.
