Labcorp is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our Special Chemistry team in Burlington, NC. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and contribute to our mission: "Improving Health, Improving Lives."

Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the department
• Ensure accurate and timely laboratory testing and reporting
• Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel
• Monitor workflow and schedule assay coverage
• Ensure proper staffing across shifts
• Research and resolve production errors, escalating when necessary
• Engage in process and service level improvements
• Maintain equipment through Quality Control
• Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records
• Evaluate and recommend process improvements
• Conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions with staff
• Perform bench work and maintain technical proficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Manage policies, procedures, payroll, and personnel files
• Perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or medical technology field
• Minimum 6 years of technologist experience
• Leadership experience preferred
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and state regulations
• Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Physical ability to perform job duties
