Qualifications

• Active California CLS license.

• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Microbiology section, including technical procedures, workflow, and staff performance.
• Ensure accurate testing, specimen integrity, quality control, and reliability of laboratory results.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and support Clinical Laboratory Scientists and laboratory personnel.
• Support compliance with CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission, and applicable laboratory regulatory standards.
