Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored. You will support patient care by maintaining accurate lab workflows and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include recognizing when corrective action is needed, handling PHI confidentially, and working with the broader team to maintain compliance and efficiency in a busy laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

In this role, you will:

All you need is:
