Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. The role involves preparing specimens for analysis, labeling, routing, and data entry within a high-volume clinical lab setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of lab experience, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and pass a color vision test. This on-site role offers benefits and a 3x12 shift schedule 6:00am–6:30pm, weekends rotating.

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities

• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX.

Work Schedule: Shift 1, 3x12 hours, 6:00am to 6:30pm; Rotating weekends

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities

Minimum Qualifications
