Job summary

ProPath Services, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Operations specialist in Dallas, TX. You will ensure specimens are correctly processed, prepared, routed, and stored, while upholding safety and confidentiality standards in a PPE-enabled environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and reading/writing/analytical skills. Training in specimen processing is helpful; 1–2 years of related experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.
• Bonus points: 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production.

Responsibilities

• Ensure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a laboratory with biological hazards and PPE requirements and maintain safety.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle PHI per privacy standards.
