Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• Certification as Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by AMT/ASCP or ASCP subspecialty certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience with at least 1 year in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to align with departmental and organizational objectives.
• Lead staff relations including performance management, scheduling, payroll, and engagements.
• Monitor budgets, compliance, contracts, and vendor relations; justify needs for equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate services with staff and external labs and act as Director in absence.
• Apply critical thinking and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
