Job summary

ACM Global Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Scientist III onsite in Horsham, PA to perform testing and analysis with accuracy and timeliness. You will train staff, review work, and troubleshoot instruments while ensuring quality control and compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

**Job Title:**Laboratory Scientist III **Department:**Regulated Laboratory **Location:**Onsite, Horsham, PA**Hours Per Week:**40hours **Schedule:**Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM **SUMMARY**The Laboratory Scientist III performs testing and analysis in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. Additional responsibilities for Training, thorough understanding of Analyst Software manipulation and advanced instrument troubleshooting and maintenance. This position is also responsible for the review of work performed by other staff, and the ancillary tasks ensuring customer satisfaction. **RESPONSIBILITIES*** Perform sample preparation procedures, including dilutions and extractions.* Proficient in analysis and capable of training others.* Perform testing* Advanced Analyst Data Review following SOP* Advanced LIMS knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot IT issues* Reporting includes but is not limited to: performing calculations that produce an accurate test result, documentation and evaluation of quality control data, chain of custody documentation, review, certification and release of final test results.* Set up testing instrumentation for specific tests and analysis, providing proper preventative maintenance according to prescribed schedules.* Knowledgeable of instrumentation for purposes of training and capable of performing advanced instrument maintenance and advanced troubleshooting.* Procure and maintain test equipment and basic method/extraction advanced troubleshooting to perform required product analysis and testing.* Prepares work lists using LIMS and job assignments for Laboratory Scientist I and II personnel.* Participate in quality control activities throughout the laboratory to assure that accurate results are reported by reviewing final reports and collecting all data necessary for routine quality control functions and tests.* Capable of troubleshooting QC failures and implementing error correction training to staff.* Train new employees on methods and techniques necessary to complete assigned work.* Comply with safety rules and regulations to include determining proper handling procedures of samples, cleanliness and neatness at the workstation and within the testing facility and observance of appropriate personal protective equipment procedures.* Order supplies according to inventory control program.* Responsible for workflow and TAT of routine analysis, including patient samples and samples for quality assessment (e.g. Proficiency Testing).* Creation of SOP documents as assigned.* Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*** Bachelor’s Degree in One of the Natural Sciences or Medical Technology.* 3 years of laboratory experience required.**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS*** Master's Degree Preferred* Applicable professional membership recommended.**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**Moderate - These roles require a combination of movement and stationary work, including frequent standing, walking, and moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Tasks may involve repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling, along with maintaining awareness in high-traffic or operational areas. Visual focus and spatial awareness are critical in facilities, logistics, or support settings. Emotional demands include managing interruptions, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Environmental exposures may include equipment noise, shared workspaces, and occasional proximity to hazardous areas.
