Job summary

The Laboratory Relations Specialist at Eurofins Environment Testing in the United States will manage communication between assigned technical groups and project management staff, with on-site requirements and strong computer skills.

The role covers tracking shipments, coordinating with project management to address issues, maintaining department tracking spreadsheets, and generating Excel reports while supporting additional duties as assigned. Typical schedule is M-F, 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate between lab staff and project management; coordinate responses to emails.
• Review shipping status and due dates for incoming subcontracted jobs and work with PM to address issues.
• Assist management with identifying issues early and addressing them.
• Manage tracking and shipping of samples to subcontract laboratories and within the lab network.
• Record upcoming projects in the department tracking spreadsheet and Run Excel reporting.

Position Summary:

The Laboratory Relations Specialist manages communication between assigned technical groups and project management staff. This is an on-site position that requires strong communication and computer skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical Communication
  • Reviews emails from project management team and works with lab staff to respond
• Job Tracking
  • Reviews shipping status and due dates for incoming subcontracted jobs. Work with Project Management to address as needed
  • Assists management with identifying issues early and addressing them
  • Manages tracking and shipping of samples to subcontract laboratories and throughout the laboratory network as needed.
  • Records upcoming projects in department tracking spreadsheet.
  • RunsExcel reporting

  • Assists with any other tasks as assigned
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Attend meetings within the laboratory
  • Cross-training and/or assisting other departments
  • Additional duties as assigned

Role is M-F, 8am-5pm. Training will be the same hours.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency with computers
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Experience or education in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
• Strong attention to detail
• 1-3+ years of customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Professional communication skills

Pay rate:$20-22/hour
