The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Laboratory Quality & Safety Program Coordinator reports to the Division Laboratory Director. Under general supervision, the role assists in developing a culture of safety within the department and oversees quality evaluations to ensure regulatory compliance, including CAP accreditation activities.

40 hours weekly, hourly pay, Bachelor's degree and 3 years in program management or healthcare quality are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• Three years relevant program management or healthcare experience, preferably with quality and safety emphasis.

Responsabilidades

• Direct rounding in 5 labs to include quality oversight.
• Tracking data/trends to improve employee and patient safety.
• Assist in monitoring, coordination and implementation of CAP regulatory standards.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in preparation for accreditation and inspections for all lab operations (inpatient and outpatient).
• Work with senior staff to ensure laboratory quality is maintained.
