Job summary

The Fountain Group in Athens, GA seeks a Vaccine Production Associate to perform aseptic vaccine component preparation in a clean room environment, following USDA regulations. The role requires basic lab/manufacturing experience and a high school diploma, with rabies vaccination required.

The position features a 4-day shift (6:45 AM–5:15 PM) with OT as needed, and a duration of 6+ months. You will support SOPs, training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives at the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Biology Degree or related field with 1+ year laboratory or manufacturing experience.
• Rabies vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities for preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment using virus and cell culture techniques per USDA regulations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and assist training of current/new employees.
• Complete/review in-process documentation; maintain technical data and support documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address problems; escalate production flow disturbances.
• Demonstrate commitment to EHS programs and initiatives.
• Assess individual performance in regards to continuous improvement (AAI).
• Support site projects and initiatives including deviation and change control management.

Job Title: Vaccine Production Associate
Location: Athens, GA
Pay Rate: $20/hr W2
Duration: 6+ months

Shift:

Overview:

• Responsible for performing the activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
• Ensure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes. Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills
• Complete/Review in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintenance of technical data and support documentation
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalation of production flow disturbances
• Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives
• Assessment of individual performance in regards to the continuous improvement (AAI)
• Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management)

Skills:

• Clean room and aseptic technique knowledge.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Basic math skills, equipment/automation troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.

Qualifications:
