Provides senior-level planning, programming, project formulation, and evaluations for the science and research capital portfolio on central campus. Co-leads Yale's specialty laboratory team, carrying a multi-project portfolio of laboratory and research-building projects from feasibility studies and programming through design, construction, commissioning, and transition to research operations. Applies laboratory planning and delivery expertise to decisions involving lab ventilation and pressurization, containment, vivarium and imaging environments, and utility shutdowns and phasing in occupied research buildings, working with faculty, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), and operations partners to protect research continuity. Develops and maintains project financial projections supporting the Long-Term Capital Plan. Leads consultants and third-party teams, ensuring quality, cost, schedule, safety, and sustainable design goals are met.
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Planning and seven years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
