Job summary

Lee's Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to receive and process specimens and perform basic lab procedures. You will also handle clerical tasks such as greeting patients, answering phones and emails, and maintaining records.

You will identify and label specimens, prepare them for analysis, route them to staging areas, process paperwork, and enter patient data accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification by ASCP and/or NCA highly desired
• Six months phlebotomy experience preferred; phlebotomy experience in hospital laboratory.
