The Laboratory Outreach Specialist serves as a liaison between the laboratory of Penn State Health St. Joseph and its clients by overseeing and performing all responsibilities related to this division of laboratory services.The specialist monitors service to clients, assists the clients with both standard and complex needs, and provides feedback to department manager to insure that the established level of quality and service is maintained. The Laboratory Outreach Specialist will research, troubleshoot, document, and work towards resolution all problems that accounts may be experiencing, in order to build and maintain client and physician relationships and drive customer satisfaction and growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical laboratory technician, phlebotomy, or other specialized laboratory training required.
• Minimum of two (2) years previous experience working in a clinical laboratory environment.
