Job summary

Certified Group in California seeks a Lab Assistant to join our ISO 17025–aligned laboratory team. You will log customer samples in the LIMS, split samples between departments, and support daily testing operations with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, understands aseptic technique, and demonstrates strong organization, arithmetic, and communication skills. This full-time role in Burbank offers Mon-Fri 10:00 AM–6:30 PM; occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good aseptic technique and awareness to prevent cross contamination.
• Basic lab technique proficiency and familiarity with laboratory practices.
• Strong math and analytical abilities.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Log customer samples into the LIMS with accuracy.
• Split samples between departments and ensure proper labeling and temperatures.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to the daily work schedule.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, and general laboratory housekeeping tasks.
• Support execution of ISO 17025 and QC requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers and other departments.
