Job summary

Coral Gables Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee the administrative and technical operations of the Laboratory, Blood Bank and Pathology. You will supervise Laboratory Supervisors, lead technical staff and ensure efficient, compliant services for patients.

In collaboration with senior leadership, you will plan and improve performance, maintain regulatory readiness, and foster a high-quality, patient-centered environment across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• 2–3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Florida Medical Technologist Supervisor license.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Experience with computer-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct Laboratory, Blood Bank and Pathology services.
• Ensure staffing levels to deliver services.
• Ensure quality of all technical and clerical work.
• Promote high work performance and patient-centered care.
