Laboratory Operations Director manages Lab Operations including technical functions and quality assurance. This position is responsible for the oversight of clinical testing, lab accreditation, and facility and equipment selection, implementation, and maintenance to ensure efficient and effective daily lab operation. Coordinates clinical projects and vendor resources to implement, maintain, and support laboratory equipment and ensure staff competency and education. Responsible for staff supervision and resource management for technical/clinical personnel and activities, assuring the provision of accurate testing that best meets customer needs in a cost-effective manner. Qualified individuals will have a bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology.
