Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Medical Lab Tech to join our expanded network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with hospital lab experience; this role offers the opportunity to support life-saving procedures while exploring the country.

Candidates must have 2+ years in hospital labs, BLS, CLS/MLT training, and be able to travel. You’ll perform chemistry/hematology testing, use LIS, and partner with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital lab experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited CLS or MLT program.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred or required at some facilities.
• Current valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample collection, testing, and analysis across chemistry, hematology, etc.
• Maintain LIS data entry and ensure accuracy of results.
• Travel to multiple facilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital lab experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Graduate of an accredited Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technician program
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred (required at some facilities)
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a lab tech in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Proficient in sample collection, testing, and analysis across various departments (chemistry, hematology, etc.)
• Familiarity with lab information systems (LIS)
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
