Job summary

Continental Consultants is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee 1–2 QC Technicians and to lead daily and long-term QC activities in a chemical plant laboratory located northeast of Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on data integrity, process control, and product release aligned with cGMP and ISO standards.

The ideal candidate will supervise personnel, optimize analytical methods, and drive continuous improvement of lab procedures and equipment, including SAP management and instrument

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry; 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a regulated lab environment desirable.
• Experience with analytical methods and instrumentation (ICP-MS, titration).
• Knowledge of cGMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, USP-NF, FCC, HACCP.
• Experience working in batch chemical manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lab employees, schedule work, and conduct performance reviews.
• Lead QA collaboration for root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Maintain calibration programs and instrument validation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, and SAP documentation.
