Job summary

Adena Health System is seeking a Manager, Laboratory to oversee all areas of the laboratory at the Southern Ohio facility. The role requires leadership of Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Transfusion/Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Immunochemistry, Point of Care, Micro, Pathology, Reference Lab and Phlebotomy for high and moderate complexity testing.

The candidate will work with the Laboratory Medical Director and Pathologist to ensure testing competency, quality control, and regulatory compliance in

Qualifications

• Medically Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) credentialing by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• 5 years of experience in a clinic laboratory with high complexity testing.
• 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree Major/Area of Concentration: Medical Laboratory Technology.

Responsibilities

• The Manager, Laboratory is responsible for all areas of the Lab: Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Transfusion/Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Immunochemistry, Point of Care, Micro, Pathology, Reference Lab and Phlebotomy for high and moderate complexity testing.
• Makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others; maintains daily operations, ensures competency and quality control, and complies with CAP/CLIA, regulatory, and Adena Health System policies.
