Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Equipment Technician in Anaheim, CA to maintain environmental testing equipment and support laboratory operations. The role involves hands-on maintenance, calibration and repair of sampling gear, inventory control, and ensuring readiness for projects.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing and moving for most of the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong MS Office skills preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and daily use of hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs routinely.
• Able to stand, walk and move for ~80% of shift.
• Preferred: knowledge of general lab practices and safety.
• Preferred: Database/LIMS experience.
• Preferred: warehouse or shipping & receiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, maintenance and repair of environmental sampling equipment.
• Clean, certify, and maintain equipment inventory and laboratory support.
• Ship, receive and process equipment requests and samples based on client needs.
• Prepare, calibrate, certify and repair air sampling equipment.
• Maintain clean laboratory areas.
• Keep organized records of equipment requests and fulfillment.
• Track inventory from multiple sites.
• Comply with Onterris QA, HSE plans and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Group Leader or Lab Director.
