Job Duration: 12 months on W2 + possible extension or conversion
Shift: 1st shift 8am-5pm
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Conduct precise analytical testing on both organic and inorganic samples using standard methods like ASTM.
- Perform simple chemical experiments to support ongoing research and operational projects.
- Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Record and maintain accurate data from experiments to ensure consistency and reliability of results.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated with current industry practices.
- Prepare initial reports and assist in the compilation of findings for senior chemists' review.
- Collaborate with other team members to address challenges and improve testing methodologies.
- Manage and safely dispose of chemicals as per environmental and safety standards.
