Job summary

Enviri in Fernley, NV is seeking a Chemist I to conduct analysis of waste stream samples in accordance with SOPs and the waste analysis plan. You will handle inventory control for lab reagents, maintain samples and instruments, perform data entry, and carry out related administrative tasks in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Analyze waste stream samples per SOPs and waste analysis plan.
• Enter quantities, volumes and analytical results into waste management software.
• Perform QA/QC analytical screening parameters as dictated by permit and SOPs.
• Follow environmental health and safety standards including proper handling, storage and disposal of chemical agents.
