Job summary
Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in West Point, PA is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead the implementation and optimization of laboratory automation solutions in regulated R&D environments.
You will design robotic workflows, integrate instruments and LIMS, and drive validation and lifecycle support while collaborating with scientists, IT, and quality teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
- Experience in laboratory automation, robotics, or automated instrumentation.
- Experience in regulated pharma/life sciences environments.
- Experience programming, configuring, and troubleshooting robotic systems.
- Knowledge of data management workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
- US work authorization without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Assess existing automation environments and workflows.
- Design, deploy, and optimize automated lab workflows.
- Program robotic and liquid handling systems.
- Integrate platforms with instruments, software, and LIMS.
- Validate systems per IQ/OQ/PQ and maintain documentation.
- Support compliance, audits, and continuous improvement.
- Develop maintenance and reliability programs.
