Your next role as a Miracle Maker

Cygnus Technologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our MockV team as a Laboratory Associate II. As a Laboratory Associate II - MockV you will execute experiments and projects involving cell culture and analytical assays. In addition, this role requires a skilled individual with experience in experimental design, data analysis, and laboratory management.

How you will make an impact:

• Cell Culture Duties include:
• Perform routine maintenance and culture of various cell lines, including insect and mammalian
• Perform cell-based assays for screening and characterization of compounds.
• Perform cell lysis
• Troubleshoot issues related to cell viability & contamination.
• Analytical Duties include:
• Design and execute a variety of analytical assays such as Immuno-qPCR and RNA Extraction/RT-qPCR
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets, ensuring high-quality and reproducible results.
• Component Manufacturing:
• Assist in the production and QC release of all MockV Kit components.
• Laboratory Management:
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including experimental procedures and results.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines within the laboratory.
• Assist in maintaining inventory on lab supplies.
  

The skills and experience that you will bring:

• Science degree, preferably in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, General Biology
• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting
• Base knowledge of biology, cell biology, and chemistry
