About The Role

We are seeking a full time Laboratory Associate who will be responsible for various laboratory testing including Titrations, ICP analysis, and viscosity testing. This individual will be responsible for following all safety and quality guidelines while maintaining a satisfactory production level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Responsibilities

About you:

  • Perform cleaning and washing of laboratory glassware.
  • Perform cleaning of laboratory benches, clean rooms, and hoods.
  • Preparation of laboratory reagents and microbiological media.
  • Properly completing all paperwork used to track tests and their validity.
  • Accurately recording personal production and meeting production requirements.
  • Routing samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.
  • Storing and disposing of samples properly.
  • Performing various laboratory tests as assigned.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time, as required

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or laboratory experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.
  • Comfortable in high paced production environment.

Physical Demands

  • The ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working.
  • Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers and managers.
  • Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle glassware.
  • Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
