Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories in Indiana is seeking a Lab Associate to perform routine testing for clinical trials, following SOPs and regulatory requirements. You will support daily lab operations through specimen analysis, result documentation, and material preparation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate results against computer-system algorithms, and escalate unusual findings to senior personnel.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, or a Bachelor's Degree; some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a BS in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology
  • Knowledge of GLP and regulatory standards is needed
  • Strong lab safety practices and standard precautions must be followed
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and terminology
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Evaluate the validity of analytical results against laboratory computer-system algorithms
  • Identify, document, and escalate potential performance errors or unusual results to senior personnel
