Job summary

A leading clinical research provider in Indianapolis is seeking a Scientist to support large-molecule therapeutics and proteomics workflows. This role involves preparing biological samples for analysis, performing LC-MS experiments, and collaborating with experienced scientists to refine methods. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience with LC-MS and sample preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with large and small molecule therapeutic modalities (peptides, proteins, mAbs, siRNA, ADCs) is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service environment is a plus.
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare biological samples for bioanalysis.
  • Perform LC-MS experiments and maintain equipment.
  • Assist with compilation of results and protocol writing.
  • Collaborate with senior scientists.

Job description

We are seeking a Scientist to join IQVIA Laboratories in Indiana. We hire passionate individuals who drive healthcare forward through thoughtful and inclusive collaboration by doing science. In this role you will support large‑molecule therapeutics, new modalities and proteomics workflows for bioanalysis by performing LC‑MS analyses and sample preparation while adapting to evolving scientific needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Prepare biological samples for bioanalysis of small and large molecule therapeutics, proteomics workflows and document experimental steps.
  • Perform LC‑MS experiments aligned to experimental procedures.
  • Perform required LC‑MS and other peripheral instrumentation maintenance activities.
  • Assist with compilation of results and contribute to protocol/report writing.
  • Collaborate with senior scientists to refine methods and meet client timelines.
  • Ensure accurate data archiving and compliance with SOPs.
  • Assist a team of scientists further grow a science business.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • Hands‑on LC‑MS and sample preparation experience for large‑molecule or small molecules analysis.
  • Knowledge of proteomics workflows from sample prep to data analysis to hand‑off.
  • Experience and knowledge with large and small molecule therapeutic modalities such as peptides, proteins, mAbs, siRNA, ADCs is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service environment is a plus.
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
