• Verifies patient and specimen identification and proper equipment function.
• Maintains records, logs, worksheets, and performs equipment maintenance as scheduled.
• Uses the laboratory system for order entry, results, and inquiries; protects passwords.
• Communicates with the patient care team and supports colleagues to meet goals.
