Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician in Templeton, CA to collect blood specimens and support the laboratory workflow. You will handle patient registration, test order entry, and specimen accessioning while ensuring specimen integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires CPT I and BLS certifications, high school diploma or GED, and preferred Associate's or Technical degree with prior phlebotomy experience in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens using phlebotomy techniques for patients of all ages.

• Perform patient registration, lab test order entry, and related documentation.
• Package and prepare specimens for transport to reference laboratories as needed.
• Maintain accurate lab records and quality control logs.
• Monitor workflow, prioritize urgent specimens, and coordinate recollection when necessary.
• Maintain supplies and clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate lab information and assist with inquiries and test order clarification.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Operate basic laboratory equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
