Job summary

Good Samaritan Society at Alexandria Broadway Clinic is seeking a dedicated individual for a phlebotomy position. Responsibilities include collecting and processing biological specimens, ensuring accuracy in laboratory data, and assisting with laboratory activities.

The ideal candidate will preferably have a high school diploma or GED, experience in a laboratory-related field, and completion of a formal phlebotomy program. A variety of benefits are offered, including health and dental insurance.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory‑related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
