Job summary

South County Health in Rhode Island seeks a phlebotomist to perform blood collection across all care areas and patient ages. You will register patients in the lab system and handle specimen processing, referencing lab testing and patient data.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of phlebotomy experience or completion of a phlebotomy program with internship and a current BLS certification. Computer and customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience or graduation from a phlebotomy school with clinical internship.
• Certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Computer experience and good customer skills are desirable.
