Job summary

Ascension St. Joseph – Chicago is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. Location: 2900 N. Lakeshore Drive, Chicago, IL.

Shift: 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with occasional other shifts, weekend/holiday rotation. You will process specimens and report waived and moderately complex test results in accordance with departmental procedures and professional standards. A high school diploma is required, with 12–18 months of related experience preferred, and a background in medical terminology is

WHAT WILL YOU DO.

This individual is responsible for specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results, in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards, to provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner.
