Shift: Day
Hours: 8:30a - 5:00p, rotating Saturday 8:00a - 12:00p

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Draw blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research. May explain the procedure to patients and assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of one of the following:
    • Completion of a Phlebotomy training program
    • Completion of medical assistant program
    • Completion of an internship/training program that included venipuncture, skin puncture, patient preparation and post collection transportation/processing
    • Currently/actively enrolled in an RN or LPN program
    • Six (6) months of Phlebotomy experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
  • One (1) year of patient care experience working in the healthcare field
