Sanford Health seeks a dedicated Phlebotomist for its evening shift in Sioux Falls. The role includes drawing blood, processing biological specimens, and ensuring laboratory accuracy in a fast-paced, professional environment. Candidates with a high school diploma, phlebotomy training, and experience in laboratory settings are encouraged to apply.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Salary Range: $17 - $23.50

Union Position: No
Evening shift position working 8 and 10 hour shifts. Shifts are rotating between 1300-2330. Drawing blood from adult and pediatric patients. Processing of blood and non-blood specimens, operating centrifuges, entering patient information into the computer system.
Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing biological specimens.
Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
High school diploma or GED preferred. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
