Salary Range: $17 - $23.50
Pay Info: * SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE *
This is an evening shift position working 8- to 10-hour shifts. Shifts rotate between 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM and 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM. Responsibilities include drawing blood from adult and pediatric patients, processing blood and non-blood specimens, operating centrifuges, and entering patient information into the computer system.
Job Summary
The responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Helps prepare laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results, ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional environment.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field are preferred. BLS certification may be required.
