Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts

Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 36.00

Salary Range: $16.00 - $23.50

Pay Info: Eligible for sign-on bonus!

We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist who loves working with children for a full-time position at Sanford Children's Castle.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and blood collection, mainly on children from newborn to teenagers, with some outreach to adult patients.
• Room patients and record vital signs in their charts.

Applicants with an active phlebotomy certification may qualify for the Senior Lab Assistant role with a wage range of $17.00-$25.50.

Job Summary

Collect blood and other fluid samples using appropriate equipment; explain procedures to patients; ensure safety; record information accurately; follow safety and asepsis protocols; communicate effectively with patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program and experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
