Rio Valley Biofuels is seeking Laboratory Assistants. Support Scientists and Researchers in conducting tests and experiments. Main duties include preparing test samples, maintaining lab records, and documenting findings.

Schedule:

12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights vary):

• Days: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
• Nights: 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and schedule in-process sample pulling
• General lab housekeeping
• Maintenance, storage, and disposal of samples, waste, and chemicals
• Work a 10-hour rotating shift
• Clean lab glassware and workstations
• Restock lab supplies
• Ensure lab organization and cleanliness
• Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment
• Work in various environmental conditions

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Accurate data entry and keyboarding skills
• Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, Email)
